After Tabu's power packed performance in Vishal Bhardwaj's Haider (adaptation of Hamlet), it is now the turn of the British actress Wendy Glenn to play the role of Hamlet's mother Gertrude in Onir's Veda, which happens to be his adaptation of the Shakespearean classic. Readers may know Wendy Glenn from her roles in American TV shows like CSI: Miami and You're Next.
Speaking about the same, Onir said Wendy's USP is that she immerses herself totally into character. He added that besides being a phenomenal actress, she is indeed very stunning as a person as well. On the other hand, Wendy said that she has been anxiously waiting for the next schedule of Veda in India, so as to experience the magic of the country for the first time. The script of Veda has been written by Bhavani Iyer and Adiraj Singh and has written the dialogues for the film.
