Salman Khan sends his reply to National Commission for Women

Few days back, Salman Khan made headlines for a comment he made about feeling like a raped woman when questioned about the gruelling shoot for his film Sultan. Though the actor was quick in realizing his mistake and made efforts to correct the comment, he faced a backlash on social networking sites as well as from political and social entities. In fact the National Commission for Women (NCW) even issued a notice to Salman Khan demanding an explanation for his statement and a public apology failing which they would file a legal case against him.

Now we hear that Salman Khan has tended his reply to the NCW. Talking about the same, Lalitha Kumaramangalam, the chief of the NCW, stated that the commission has indeed received a reply from Salman Khan via his lawyers but the actor has not apologized for making the statements.
